SoundCue: Audio Bookmarks
Effective July 17, 2026

Privacy Policy

SoundCue is designed to help you save moments in audio without collecting your personal information.

Information we collect

SoundCue does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. The app does not require an account.

Audio and bookmark data

Audio files you choose to import, playback positions, bookmarks, notes, tags, and exports are stored on your device. We do not receive or have access to this content.

Permissions and files

When you select an audio file through Apple’s Files picker or Share Sheet, SoundCue accesses only the file you explicitly choose so it can play it and associate your bookmarks with it. You can remove imported items and their bookmark data in the app.

Tracking, advertising, and analytics

SoundCue does not use advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs.

Sharing

If you choose Export or Share, SoundCue creates the selected export on your device and sends it only to the destination you select through Apple’s share sheet. That destination’s privacy practices apply after you share it.

Retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or delete the app. Deleting the app may remove locally stored information, so export a backup first if you want to keep your markers.

Children’s privacy

SoundCue does not knowingly collect personal information from children because it does not collect personal information from any user.

Changes to this policy

If a future release adds cloud sync, analytics, accounts, or other data processing, this policy and the app’s App Privacy information will be updated before that release.
