Route-Margin does not require an account, does not contain advertising or analytics trackers, and does not collect or sell your personal data. Your profile and calculation history stay on your device.
Information you enter
Route-Margin lets you enter a vehicle name, fuel economy, fuel price, per-mile costs, profit targets, load names, pay, loaded and deadhead mileage, trip hours, fees, tolls, and other operating costs.
This information is used only to calculate and display your estimated trip costs, net profit, profit per mile, effective hourly earnings, and target status.
Local data storage
Your vehicle profile, preferences, and up to 20 recent estimates are stored locally on your device. The current version has no account system, cloud sync, or remote database for your calculation data.
Data we do not collect
- We do not collect your calculation inputs or history.
- We do not collect precise or approximate location.
- We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
- We do not collect payment card information inside the app.
Sharing and Apple services
If you choose the app's Share function, iOS presents the system share sheet and sends the summary only to the destination you select. Route-Margin also relies on standard Apple services for App Store distribution and purchase processing. Those services are governed by Apple's own privacy terms.
Your controls
You can delete individual estimates, clear calculation history, or clear all locally stored Route-Margin data from the app's settings. Deleting the app also removes its locally stored data, subject to the behavior of your device backups.
Children's privacy
Route-Margin is a business utility for drivers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if Route-Margin's features or data practices change. The revised effective date and latest policy will be posted on this page. Any future feature that changes data collection will be reviewed before release.
