Needle-Calc: Needlepoint is an offline needlepoint planning utility. This policy explains the information the app handles, where it is kept, and the choices available to you.
Summary: the current version has no account, ads, subscription, or third-party analytics. Your projects and planning information stay on your device unless you choose to share content using the system share sheet.
Information stored in the app
To provide canvas, stitch, thread, and shopping-list estimates, the app may store the following information locally on your device:
- Project details, such as project names, canvas dimensions, mesh count, and calculation inputs.
- Thread and color planning details, including quantities, inventory adjustments, and shopping-list entries.
- App settings and other preferences used to restore your workspace.
Where your information is stored
App data is stored locally on your device. The current version does not offer account registration, cloud sync, or a developer-operated backend, so this information is not uploaded to the developer's servers.
Sharing
You may choose to share a shopping list or other generated text through Apple's system share sheet. The app sends only the content you select to the destination you choose. The receiving app or service handles that content under its own privacy policy.
What the app does not do
- It does not require sign-in or account creation.
- It does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
- It does not track you across apps or websites.
- It does not sell, rent, or share your project data with third parties.
- It does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location for its core features.
Deleting or correcting data
You can edit or delete saved projects and planning details in the app. You can also remove local app data by deleting the app from your device. Data in the app sandbox is generally removed by the system when the app is uninstalled.
Children's privacy
The app is a utility and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, or other external services, this policy will be updated before or when those changes take effect.
