Your inspection records stay on your device unless you choose to share them.

Rental-Report is an iPhone app for move-in, move-out, and routine rental inspection reports. It helps users capture room-by-room notes, photos, signatures, and PDF exports. We designed the app around local-first use and try to minimize data collection and external transfer.

1. Information You Enter

  • Property details you add, such as property name, address, unit, tenant name, and inspection date.
  • Inspection content you create, including room status, notes, checklist items, and issue summaries.
  • Photos and signatures you attach to an inspection report.
  • PDF files or other exports you choose to generate and share.

2. How The Information Is Used

  • To display, save, duplicate, and organize your inspection reports inside the app.
  • To generate PDF reports and previews when you request an export.
  • To support system share actions that you intentionally start.

3. Storage Model

  • Rental-Report is designed for local use on your device.
  • The app does not require account registration, email login, or phone number login.
  • We do not operate a required cloud account system for storing your core inspection records.

4. Sharing And External Transfer

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not upload your inspection content to us unless a future feature clearly asks you to do that.
  • If you export or share a PDF or other file, that transfer is handled by iOS and the destination service or app you choose.

5. Third-Party Services

  • The app may use standard iOS system features such as camera, photo library access, file export, and share sheet actions.
  • This policy is based on the current product scope, which does not require account login, ads, or a backend-hosted inspection database.

6. Your Choices

  • You decide what property, tenant, photo, and note information to enter.
  • You can stop using the app at any time and remove local data by deleting content in the app or removing the app from your device.
  • You can avoid sharing exports if you want your records to remain only on your device.

7. Children’s Privacy

Rental-Report is not directed to children. If you believe inappropriate personal information has been entered into the app, contact us through the support page.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this policy if the product changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
