Pickleball-Score Privacy Policy
Pickleball-Score is designed to help players keep score quickly without requiring an account or a backend profile. The current app version is intended to minimize data collection and keep core usage local to your device.
1. Data Collection
At launch, Pickleball-Score is intended to collect no personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, or government-issued identifiers.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
- Game settings you choose, such as scoring-related preferences.
- Score history or match records created while using the app.
- Basic app state needed to restore your latest in-app session or defaults.
3. How the Data Is Used
- To display the current score and support the scoring flow inside the app.
- To remember your preferred setup between launches.
- To keep a local record of recent matches or score history if that feature is enabled in the app.
4. Third-Party Services
The MVP plan assumes no analytics SDK, no ad SDK, no account system, and no third-party marketing tracker. If that changes in a later version, this policy will need to be updated before that version is released.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Based on the current app design described here, we do not intentionally transmit score data or settings to our own servers for routine app use.
6. Children's Privacy
Pickleball-Score is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Policy Updates
If the app's data practices change materially, this page will be updated and the effective date will be revised.
