KidsDose-Tracker Privacy Policy
KidsDose-Tracker is a medicine logging and reminder app for parents and caregivers. This policy explains what information the app handles, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
Summary: the current version does not require an account, does not include ads, and does not track you across apps or websites. Child profiles, medicine presets, dose logs, and reminder settings are stored on your device by default.
Information the app stores
To provide medicine tracking features, the app may store the following information locally on your device:
- Child profile details such as names, avatars, and related notes you choose to enter.
- Medicine presets and dose log details such as medicine name, amount, unit, timestamp, and reminder interval.
- App preferences and local settings used to restore your experience when you reopen the app.
Where data is stored
In the current version, app data is stored locally on your device. KidsDose-Tracker does not require account registration, does not provide cloud sync, and does not send your dose logs or child profile data to a developer-operated backend service.
Sharing
The app includes an optional export and share flow for care summaries. Information leaves the app only when you explicitly choose to share a summary through your device's share sheet or another app on your device.
Notifications
If you choose to use reminders, the app may request notification permission so it can deliver local reminder notifications on your device. Reminder scheduling is used only for app functionality and is not sold or used for cross-app tracking.
What the app does not do
- It does not require sign-in or account creation.
- It does not include advertising SDKs.
- It does not perform cross-app tracking.
- It does not sell or rent your personal information.
- It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Data deletion and correction
You can edit or delete child profiles, presets, and logs directly in the app. You can also remove local app data by deleting the app from your device. Data stored in the app sandbox is typically removed by the system when the app is uninstalled.
Children's privacy
KidsDose-Tracker is intended for parents and caregivers, not for direct use by children as a standalone service. The app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children online.
Policy updates
If a future version adds accounts, sync, analytics, or third-party services, this policy will be updated to describe those changes before or when they take effect.
