Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Aqua-Minder handles information when you use the app.
Privacy at a glance: Aqua-Minder does not require an account, does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, does not track you, and does not upload your aquarium records to developer-operated servers.
Information stored on your device
Aqua-Minder stores the information you enter locally on your device so the app can provide its features. This may include:
- aquarium name, volume, measurement units, and other tank settings;
- water test readings, including temperature, pH, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate;
- maintenance, feeding, and treatment records and notes;
- care schedules and reminder settings; and
- basic preferences needed to restore your experience.
How information is used
Your locally stored information is used only to operate app features such as displaying your aquarium history, showing trends, scheduling care tasks, and preparing exports you request.
Data collection and sharing
The current version does not provide account registration, cloud sync, or a developer-operated user database. Aqua-Minder does not sell personal information or share your app records with advertisers or data brokers.
If you choose to export or share aquarium history, the app uses the iOS share sheet. You decide the destination, and the receiving app or service handles the exported file under its own privacy practices.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
- No third-party analytics SDKs are included.

- No cross-app or cross-site tracking is performed.
Notifications
If reminders are available and you enable them, Aqua-Minder may request permission to send local notifications. You can manage notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Your choices and data deletion
You can update your tank details and records in the app. You can remove Aqua-Minder data by using the app's delete controls or by uninstalling the app. Because the developer does not receive or store your aquarium records, there is no server-side account or database record to delete.
Children's privacy
Aqua-Minder is a general-audience aquarium organization tool. It is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Care and treatment disclaimer
Aqua-Minder records information for organizational purposes only. It does not diagnose fish disease, recommend medication, prescribe treatment, or replace advice from a qualified aquatic veterinarian. Always follow product labels and appropriate professional guidance.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if app features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
